From AI upskilling to digital literacy outreach, fellowship milestones, and first-time meetups, we’ve been in our impact era. So, here’s your quick, juicy recap of what went down.
Spoiler alert: it was epic.
Getting AI Certified
We kicked off June with Microsoft’s AI Skills Week, and let’s just say the robots didn’t take our jobs; they made them better.
Over a week, participants explored how to unlock creativity, career growth, and productivity using AI with Microsoft Copilot. Participants gained hands-on experience with tools that give a competitive edge in today’s tech-driven job market. Not to mention, those who complete the course get vouchers for Microsoft AI-900 Certification exams. The participants also mastered Microsoft Copilot in polishing their LinkedIn profiles and fine-tuning CVs.
"The Microsoft AI Skills Week initiative is very important because no matter what job anyone takes, AI will impact that a lot and having the knowledge and skills of AI will help in their career progression," Bharat Kundra, UNICEF youth division.
“For whoever wants to be relevant in the industry, it is a must to learn AI”- Popoola Isiaka, Microsoft Certified Trainer.
Big shoutout to all participants who brought energy and curiosity. We loved your feedback! Watch a recap of the week here
